The festive season is really warming up at our Holy Cross home with bags of seasonal entertainment already being enjoyed.
Earlier this week, residents were treated to a magnificent performance by St Anthony’s Academy when they sang to a rapt audience in the home’s St Jeanne Jugan chapel.
The mood was lighter, but no less enjoyable, when Mike Memphis returned with more of his Elvis hits, liberally sprinkled with some Christmas favourites.
And, with the pantomime season well and truly underway, everyone was cheering and booing in good old panto style when Act One Productions performed Cinderella.
The home’s activities coordinator, Clare Quinn said, “These last few days have been fab! Everyone was really moved by the choir, the panto was loads of fun and Elvis was great! I think we can safely say our residents are having a wonderful Christmas so far.”
