A cast of two enthralled residents at St Catherine’s with their amazing, condensed panto performance of Aladdin last night. Oh yes they did!
Dale Meeks and Janine Leigh quick-changed their way through numerous costumes to take on all the roles of the panto’s goodies and baddies, including Wishy Washy, Widow Twanky – and Aladdin, of course.
The busy little performance had our residents laughing, clapping, and singing along to songs that ranged from Run Rabbit Run and Return to Sender to We Wish You A Merry Christmas.
“It may have been a pint-sized performance,” said St Catherine’s activities coordinator, Richard Dobinson, “but it made a massive impact! Everyone had a great evening.”
