There was neigh shying away from the Christmas spirit at Parkhead’s festive fair – even if you were a donkey!
Nelly the donkey was the star of the show when she visited Parkhead staff and guests at their Christmas fair wearing her very best Santa hat!
She joined more than 60 people who had gathered at the fair to enjoy a browse around the tempting cake and craft stalls and feast on hot turkey and stuffing sandwiches and mince pies.
“Everyone loved Nelly!” said Nicola Johnson, Parkhead Manager. “People flocked to her as soon as she arrived. We’re looking forward to her coming back in the spring – perhaps she’ll be wearing her Easter bonnet!”
