Alan’s Great North Run 2015 squad has been selected, we had a fantastic uptake with all 20 places filled within days!
All the money raised by the team will go directly towards helping fund, support and refurbish the Alan Shearer Centre, based here in Newcastle, a specialist facility for children and adults with profound disabilities and sensory impairments.
Runners from far and wide have signed up, Sara Houston from Northern Ireland will be running the GNR for the first time this year said “I chose to run for the Alan Shearer Foundation to raise money for a worthy charity and help put a smile on people’s faces”.
