The Alan Shearer Activity Centre was transformed into the Land of Oz when the One Act Productions theatre group hit like a tornado this week!
With just two actors playing all parts in the cast, the company sought some audience participation and help on stage from the Centre’s recreation coordinator, Tom Parry, as they performed their special adaptation of the fantasy tale.
“There was a very good attendance and everyone really enjoyed it,” said Tom. “It was a lot of fun.”
This Bank Holiday weekend the Activity Centre is holding a muffin baking session on Saturday 23 May and inviting everyone to join in with some music and movement when the Just Jhoom dance troupe make a welcome return visit on Bank Holiday Monday.
