Residents at St Catherine’s Nursing Home have enjoyed a relaxing pampering session thanks to some of our talented volunteers.
A packed lounge greeted five pupils from Sacred Heart School and brand new volunteer, Adele Southern, who had all arranged to visit the home to offer a selection of soothing hand rubs and elegant manicures. Relaxing background music completed the therapeutic treatment and left everyone feeling perfectly pampered.
“Our residents really appreciate the time given by our volunteers,” said Volunteer Co-ordinator, Nicola Milne. “Something as simple as painting your nails can be a talent you can share as a volunteer and it really does make a big difference to our residents.”
