Some of our Holy Cross residents have enjoyed a trip out for lunch to one of the region’s top-rated pub/restaurants.
The small group felt properly pampered as they were escorted by staff, carers and a volunteer on the short journey to the restaurant where they were soon discussing the delicious menu choices at their table.
Traditional fare was definitely a favourite with fish and chips and beef dinners among the most popular picks.
Resident Kathleen Crowe was among the lunch guests and thoroughly enjoyed her time out. “I enjoyed it so much that I was asking about our next trip before we’d even reached home,” said Kathleen.
It seems Kathleen won’t have too long to wait as the trips out for lunch or coffee are regular occurrences at Holy Cross.
