It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! – And on their latest trip out, our Holy Cross residents certainly got into the festive spirit.
Clay’s Garden Centre in Washington held a feast of festive treats for our residents when they visited with our staff recently.
The Christmas display, with its twinkling ornaments and rows of decorated trees, was fit to brighten up the dullest of days and everyone enjoyed browsing through the seasonal gifts, too.
After a little Christmas shopping, everyone enjoyed a chat over a cuppa and a scone in the café.
“Our residents always enjoy their visits to the garden centre,” said Activities Co-ordinator, Clare Quinn, “but it’s especially lovely at this time of year. Everyone really benefits from our trips out and were thrilled to have the opportunity to buy a few gifts, too.”
