Some lucky guests staying at our Short Break Centre today got the chance to perform a celebrity-style switch on at the Alan Shearer Centre.
The group was full of anticipation after being invited to switch on the Christmas tree lights at the Alan Shearer Centre and, after a quick countdown and a flick of a switch, no-one was disappointed.
The 10 feet tall tree that stands proudly outside the Centre burst into life with twinkling festive lights and, together with our guests’ smiling faces, helped everyone to forget the inclement weather.
“I don’t know what brightened up the evening most – our tree or our guests!” said Centre Manager, Amanda Head.
