Our nursing homes in Newcastle and Sunderland were bustling with people enjoying fun and festivities at their Christmas fayres at the weekend.
St Catherine’s and Holy Cross welcomed dozens of relatives and guests who had a great time trying their luck on the tombola, browsing the stalls and enjoying delicious refreshments and lively conversation.
By the time the fayres came to a close and the raffles were drawn, everyone agreed the events had been a big success. And with everyone leaving with bulging bags, they also helped to raise welcome funds towards putting on some extra Christmas events and activities for our residents.
