Residents at our Holy Cross Nursing Home in Sunderland enjoyed a selection of Christmas songs and hymns with a twist recently.
Back by popular demand, The Puppets were as big a hit as ever as they treated our residents to wonderful renditions of some of the most popular festive tunes, including O Come All Ye Faithful, When a Child is Born and Here Comes Santa Claus.
Holy Cross Activity Co-ordinator, Clare Quinn said, “This is the second visit for The Puppets and they went down so well, we’ve already confirmed another booking. Everyone had a great time singing along and posing with them – especially the ‘Elvis’ puppet! It was a great start to our Christmas programme.”
