Residential Care Officer, Eldon Hardy, donned his special elf t-shirt to play Secret Santa’s helper at this year’s Christmas party for our service users with learning disabilities.
Residents from our home for adults in Bailiffgate, Alnwick made a special trip down to Newcastle’s Irish Centre to join users of our Independent Supported Living service for an afternoon of festive food, drinks and disco dancing.
A large pile of presents was also awaiting the guests, but nobody intended keeping them wrapped until Christmas Day! Soon everyone knew what their Secret Santa had chosen for them.
Independent Supported Living Manager, Emma Heron, said, “ It was lovely to see everyone chatting and enjoying themselves. I was really pleased that people from both of our services were able to come. They all have so much in common but rarely get together like this. Everyone is already asking when the next party is going to be!”
