A packed house greeted popular performer, Sadie, when she returned once more to entertain our Holy Cross residents – and many family members couldn’t resist coming along, too.
Much-loved songs, such as ‘When Irish Eyes Are Smiling’, ‘Tulips from Amsterdam’ and ‘Molly Malone’, had everyone singing along and her stunning costume changes made the event a real spectacle.
“Our residents love the impressive costumes as much as the singing,” said the home’s Activities Co-ordinator, Clare Quinn. “This time, when Sadie entered wearing a gorgeous, pink ball gown there was an audible gasp from one of our ladies! The whole show was a real pick-me-up for everyone.”
