If you live in the Redcar area and are interested in fostering a child, you can find out more from members of our Fostering North East team when they visit the local Morrisons store on Monday, 20 June.
Pop along to the Morrisons store on Lord Street in Redcar any time between 11am and 2pm and members of our fostering team will be happy to chat to you about becoming a foster carer and answer any questions you may have.
“Sometimes people hesitate about enquiring about fostering because they have many questions before they feel comfortable to take that first step,” said Fostering North East’s Operations Manager, Joann Gibson. “This is an ideal opportunity to meet members of the team in person and ask those questions without feeling you have to make a commitment to becoming a carer.”
Fostering North East is part of St Cuthbert’s Care and their small, friendly team offer carers all the support and training they need to confidently take on the role of foster carer. The team need foster carers from all over the North East region, so if you can’t get to our Redcar event, you can enquire online at www.fosteringnortheast.org.uk or ring Joann on 0191 2280111.
