Something is being made in the arts and crafts sessions at the Activity Centre that nobody will talk about. Rumour has it that there’s a surprise to be revealed soon, but one or two special arrangements have yet to be made for the great unveiling.
Members of the Live & Learn group have been furiously working away to finish … well, whatever it is, before their sessions wind up for the summer holiday this Friday.
Recreation Assistant, Heather McLaren, said, “All I can say is that it’s something to mark a special event and someone is going to get a lovely surprise. Everyone is sworn to secrecy until everything is ready.”
Live & Learn, our fun, skills sessions for adults with learning disabilities, is taking a summer break from Friday 15 July, restarting on Tuesday 6 September. Why not come along and join us then? It’s all free and it’s a great way to make new friends.
