Last week was a busy week for our schools as they prepared for the end of the school year, but one school still managed to fit in a surprise visit.
We were delighted when representatives from St George’s Primary School in Newcastle took time out of their busy schedule to call into our offices to meet our Fundraising Manager, Nicola Milne.
St George’s Mini Vinnies had held a cake sale which raised £154.10 for St Cuthbert’s Care and pupils wanted to deliver the cheque in person. They had also arranged a coin collection, raising an extra £21.83, and brought along a photo of the big cross which the coins had filled.
“It’s wonderful to meet the young people of our Diocese who choose to fundraise for us,” said Nicola. “With their support, we can continue to offer support to those in greatness need.”
