When another entertainer stepped in at the last minute to cover for a last minute cancellation at Holy Cross, disappointment soon turned to delight for our residents.
Lisa Laidler gave a sparkling performance in our large lounge with a selection of songs that brought back happy memories and had everyone swaying, singing or even on their feet dancing!
Singing along to songs like Que Sera Sera, Penny Arcade, Going to the Chapel and Delilah brightened everyone’s day, but it was resident, Bob Clayton, who thoroughly enjoyed a twirl around the dance floor with Lisa.
“For the rest of the afternoon, Bob told everyone who would listen that he’d spent the afternoon dancing with a beautiful lady,” said Activity Co-ordinator, Clare Quinn. “I think it’s safe to say he had the time of his life!”
