Judith wasn’t ‘lonesome tonight’!

It was a night to remember for Judith when she made the trip from our Bailiffgate home in Alnwick to Whitley Bay Playhouse to see her lifelong hero, Elvis.

After Judith sent a note backstage to Elvis (alias Mario Kombou, who has been described as “the best Elvis since Elvis”) he made sure she had a fabulous night.

He serenaded her with ‘Are you lonesome tonight’, which ended with a kiss on the cheek, then gave her his scarf as he sang ‘In the ghetto’. He even dedicated ‘American trilogy’ to Judith at the end of his show.

Afterwards, he posed for photographs with her – and gave her his baseball cap as a keepsake.

Bailiffgate carer, Heather Robson, who went with Judith to the show said, “Judith was so happy on the drive home – she kept saying she was very lucky. So thank you, Elvis, for making a girl’s dreams come true!”
