Memories came flooding back for our residents at Holy Cross Nursing Home in Sunderland when they were treated to a festive sing-along in their activity room.
Dozens of Christmassy toe-tappers were performed by Michaela Marshall from Musical Memories as she mingled with the residents and encouraged everyone to join in with the songs.
Dressed in a fur-trimmed red dress that added to the festive atmosphere, her catalogue of songs included White Christmas, Frosty the Snowman, Winter Wonderland and a selection of Christmas hymns.
“Everyone loves this time of year and Michaela certainly brought Christmas joy to everyone with her songs,” said Holy Cross Manager, Julie Thompson.
