Everything in the garden is rosy at our residential home for adults with learning disabilities in Bailiffgate, Alnwick thanks to a group of hard-working volunteers.
The group of ten people from Lloyds Private Banking arrived bright and early to start the makeover and after much weeding, mowing, tidying, planting and cleaning, the garden was ready for our residents to enjoy.
All the hard work was rewarded with huge smiles from our residents who had great fun lending their green-fingered support. Famous for their welcoming hospitality, they also prepared and served a delicious lunch for everyone to share in the sun.
“Our garden has seen an amazing transformation,” said Joanne Dixon who manages the home. “I’d like to say a massive thank you to everyone from Lloyds for all their hard work. I can guarantee our residents will make very good use of the garden at every opportunity.”
