After all the excitement of the festivities has died down, January can sometimes feel a bit boring by comparison – unless you live in one of our services.
Getting out and about and enjoying a change of scene this week are some of our Independent Supported Living residents who simply love being ladies who lunch. A trip to the Metrocentre ticked all the boxes for our foodie fans with a favourite meal, a drink, ice cream and a chance to check out the shops.
For Jordan, who lives in our Alan Shearer Specialist Residential home, it was a trip to Beamish that really made his day.
“Jordan had a great time looking round Beamish,” said manager, Gareth. “His second favourite thing was the tram ride but top of his list was the amazing fish and chips!”
