Activities Co-ordinator/Carer

Salary: £18,665 per annum (£9.70 per hour).
Hours of Work: Full and Part time over a 7 day rota.
Location: Holy Cross Nursing Home, Sunderland.
Working in our residential and nursing home for older people in Sunderland, you will provide a wide range of activities to interest and stimulate the physical and mental well-being of our residents. You will demonstrate the ability to plan a calendar of activities to motivate and engage older people, making our home a vibrant place in which to live.
Our ideal candidate will hold a Diploma level 2 Health and Social Care or an equivalent qualification, be flexible to meet the needs of the service and be able to carry out moving/handling and personal care tasks.
The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced disclosure and barring service (DBS) check.
