Financial Controller

Salary: up to £40,000 per annum.
Hours of Work: 35 hours per week.
Location: Head Office, Newcastle.
As a leading social care charity, we are looking to recruit an experienced Financial Controller.
Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, you will be responsible for all aspects of our finance function including, producing management accounts, regulatory and financial reporting along with budget and forecasting preparation. The successful candidate will be commercially aware, advising on business and commercial activities to maximise income and improve our market position.
Experience and skills required:
- A professionally recognised qualification appropriate to the role
- Strong business acumen with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- High integrity and openness, with a commitment to good governance
