Residential Care Officer

Salary: £14.56 per hour. Plus £68 payment per sleep-in.
Hours of Work: Full and part time hours over a 7 day rota.
Location: Alan Shearer Short Break Centre, Newcastle.
This role also attracts a Welcome Bonus of up to £350.
We are looking to recruit experienced care professionals who are passionate about providing outstanding care and support to adults living with a range of complex disabilities.
Our Alan Shearer Short Break provides respite breaks for adults living with a range of disabilities. Our specially adapted service, part of the Alan Shearer Centre, enables parents and care givers to take a well-earned break, knowing their loved one is receiving outstanding care in a fun, therapeutic environment.
Working closely with families, individual and care professionals we develop care plans that compliment day-to-day life, encouraging people to experience new opportunities through a structured, person-centre approach in a safe environment.
The successful candidate will also support our specialist residential home during busy times.
