Katie, who lives in our Drake House supported living accommodation, has taken her first, exciting steps towards realising her dream of becoming a qualified dog groomer.
Katie’s life-long love of dogs and her caring nature make her the perfect candidate for a career in dog grooming – all she needed was a helping hand to boost her confidence and begin realising her ambitions.
After supporting Katie to find and complete a taster session at Kirkley Hall, our staff are delighted that she is now signed up to begin a dog grooming course in February.
“She’s so kind and caring and the biggest dog-lover,” said Drake House deputy manager, Beth. “The taster session has confirmed what we’ve always known – she’s an absolute natural.”
