At St Catherine’s, our Nursing Home in Newcastle, our ties to the local community are something we treasure – so it’s always heartwarming to see our residents so warmly welcomed by our wonderful friends and neighbours.
A massive thank you to Sacred Heart and Fenham Association of Residents (FAR), for helping to spread some early Christmas joy to our residents with a kind invitation to attend their festive carol service.
Residents Joan and Colette were delighted with their visit to FAR Community Centre where they listened to Sacred Heart students share Christmas readings and sing a selection of popular Christmas carols.
“The choir was beautiful,” said Joan, “and there was a marvellous buffet lunch and refreshments afterwards. The choir deserve a very big thank you indeed.”
