To celebrate Random Acts of Kindness Day, three members of The Hub @ Parkhead, our day centre for adults with disabilities in Ashington, visited Riverside House nursing home in Morpeth to share a little joy.
Laura, Thomas and Sofia arrived with gifts of chocolates and flowers before joining the residents for their morning gentle ball game, creating smiles all around.
In a lovely gesture of kindness in return, the residents invited our members to stay for lunch, making it a truly special day for everyone.
Bethany, our senior support worker, said: “It was heartwarming to see friendships forming through simple acts of kindness. A small gesture can brighten someone’s day in the most meaningful way.”
A wonderful reminder that kindness is contagious!
