We’d like to say a huge thank you to Joe Cherry for taking on this year’s Great North Run in memory of his much-loved Nanna, Loraine.
Loraine lived at our St Catherine’s nursing home for six years, during which time her family became a special part of the St Catherine’s community. To honour her and support the work of our charity, Joe laced up his trainers and completed the iconic half marathon, raising an incredible £641.
We are so grateful to Joe for his dedication and generosity and for choosing to celebrate his Nanna’s life in such a meaningful way.
