The Hub @ Parkhead recently had the pleasure of welcoming Jen from the Northumberland Hedgehog Rescue Trust. Jen gave a wonderfully informative talk all about hedgehogs and how to care for them, the challenges they face and simple ways we can make our gardens safer and more welcoming for these beloved creatures.
During her visit, Jen also shared an inspiring insight into the rescue centre’s work. The Northumberland Hedgehog Rescue Trust provides an essential lifeline to countless hedgehogs in need, nursing them back to health and giving them a second chance in the wild.
The Hub community rallied together to support the cause bringing in food donations for the rescue every contribution made a real difference and the generosity shown was heartwarming.
A huge thank-you goes out to Jen for her time and knowledge and to everyone who donated or lent a hand. Your kindness helps keep these prickly little visitors safe and cared for 🦔
