This National Career Development Month, we’ve been celebrating the careers of just some of the talented people we have working for our charity and we round off our profiles with our Chief Executive, Nic.
Nic, is approaching 30 years’ service with our charity and began his career with St Cuthbert’s Care when he joined us as Finance Assistant. After gaining his Chartered Management Accountant professional qualifications, Nic’s learning and development continued with mentoring by the senior management team.
In 2008, Nic progressed to Finance Director where his strategic and operational decision-making was able to play a key role in securing the charity’s financial health and in driving forward sustainable growth.
Nic was promoted to Chief Executive in 2023. He has been a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants for over 20 years and is Chair of the Newcastle branch of Care North East.
We are delighted that Nic continues to share his invaluable knowledge and extensive experience to benefit the charity, helping us to navigate through the many challenges faced by the sector.
