It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Canon Robert Spence, affectionately known to all as Fr Bob, a stalwart supporter and friend of St Cuthbert’s Care for over 50 years.
We had the privilege of caring for Fr Bob at Holy Cross Nursing Home since 2018. His warmth, kindness and gentle presence touched everyone he met, leaving a lasting impact across our charity and especially on those at Holy Cross.
Fr Bob will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His dedication, compassion and the joy he brought to those around him will be remembered with great fondness and gratitude.
Rest in Peace, Fr Bob.
