Our Chief Executive, Nic, swapped his desk for the dining room as he joined residents for lunch at Holy Cross, our nursing home in Sunderland.
Accepting their kind invitation, Nic spent a relaxed lunchtime chatting, sharing stories and comparing favourite meals and restaurants – with plenty of praise for the wonderful food served at Holy Cross. The conversation flowed easily, with lots of laughter along the way.
The highlight of the day? A friendly and slightly competitive game of bingo. Encouraged by residents to take part, Nic quickly discovered that bingo at Holy Cross is taken very seriously! Eyes down, dabbers ready…
