On Global Recycling Day, we’re doing our bit for the environment with a range of recycling available across our charity.
From paper and plastic to electricals and food waste, our staff are helping to reduce the amount of waste going to landfill.
“We urge our staff to reduce or re-use materials wherever possible,” said Director of Compliance, Gill Ennis. “When this has been exhausted, recycling is our next step and every service has recycling facilities available to them. Hopefully, establishing good practices at work will carry through to their recycling habits at home, too.”
Among the many benefits of recycling are that it conserves natural resources, lowers greenhouse gas emissions and reduces pollution.
