The Immersive Room at our Alan Shearer Activity Centre provided the perfect environment for some of our young members to benefit from our first visit by Happy Hands SEND Massage.
Specifically designed for our young members with special educational needs and disabilities aged between two and ten years old, the Happy Hands therapists massaged hands and feet, helping to encourage relaxation and support wellbeing. The soothing effects were boosted with a tranquil backdrop of sunflowers in our stunning Immersive Room.
The sessions were so well received that we have booked two more for August – one for adults and one for children. Watch our Activity Centre What’s On list for more information or give our friendly Recreation Assistants a ring on 0191 267 8118.
