We’re giving a big shout out to our nurses today as we mark International Nurses’ Day.
As well as providing expert care with kindness, compassion – and always a smile – our nursing team offer comfort and companionship at any time of day or night.
Many of our residents got together to show their appreciation and say a heartfelt ‘thank you’ today, presenting our nurses with hand-crafted cards, flowers and chocolates.
Nurse, Helen and Clinical Lead, Sherly from our St Catherine’s nursing home were over-the-moon to receive their cards. Meanwhile, residents, Theresa and Bob at our Holy Cross nursing home in Sunderland joined Deputy Manager, Mim and Wellbeing Co-ordinator, Rachel, to present cards and gifts to nurse, Louise.
“That’s made my day,” said Louise.
