Mental Health Awareness Week

People around our charity supporting Mental Health Awareness Week

Across our charity, staff teams and the people we support are coming together to take action for Mental Health Awareness Week. Whether it’s sharing a cuppa and a chat with friends or colleagues, or wearing green to support Wear It Green Day, it’s been great to see everyone recognising the importance of looking after our mental health.

Looking after wellbeing is something we’re committed to every day. As Denise Hall, HR Lead, explains:

“Our charity has many measures in place to ensure our staff teams look after their mental health just as much as their physical health. We strongly support work-life balance, making sure staff have sufficient time to rest and recover to help prevent burnout. Teams across our charity also have access to trained Mental Health First Aiders and independent counselling where needed.

“We’re pleased to support Mental Health Awareness Week, and to ensure that good mental health remains a priority all year round.”
