A huge thank you goes to the group of volunteers from Barratt Homes who gave their valuable time to work on our gardens at the Alan Shearer Centre, helping to keep them in tip top condition.
The green fingered group spent the day sprucing up the floral displays as well as clipping, pruning and watering.
“The difference they have made to the garden in just one day is incredible!” said the Centre’s Senior Recreation Assistant, Heather.
The group of volunteers said it was a pleasure to come and found it very therapeutic.
