Members from our Hub@Parkhead day centre in Ashington have been literally surrounded by art with a visit to the Van Gogh Immersive Experience in Newcastle.
The group have literally been able to step into giant projections of some of the Dutch painter’s most impressive artworks, including Starry Night, Café Terrace at Night and the incredibly popular Sunflowers.
“Before our visit, we took an in-depth look at Van Gogh’s paintings,” said creative support worker, Elaine. “We also made our own Sunflowers paintings to display at the centre, but nothing prepared us for how stunning it would be to experience his masterpieces in this way. We were blown away!”
