Some of our newest members at Hub@Parkhead day centre in Ashington have joined their centre friends on a trip to Northumberland Zoo to enjoy an exciting wildlife experience.
Accompanied by staff, the group travelled together to spend the day exploring and learning about the animals and enjoyed a delicious lunch together before heading home.
“The trip has really helped everyone get to know each other better and build their confidence,” said manager, Claire. “They now know that they all share a love of Meerkats, too!”
