Residents Get Creative with Homemade Pizza Making

There was plenty of fun, laughter and delicious food on the menu recently as residents at Holy Cross Care Home in Sunderland enjoyed a hands-on pizza-making session.

Residents rolled up their sleeves and got creative, choosing their favourite toppings and building their very own personalised pizzas. The activity sparked lots of conversation and laughter, with many residents sharing memories of cooking for family and enjoying favourite meals over the years.

The aroma of freshly baked pizza soon filled the home as everyone’s creations made their way into the oven. Once ready, residents gathered together to enjoy their homemade treats.

Activities like these are a wonderful way to bring people together, encouraging creativity, social interaction and new experiences while creating special memories. Judging by the smiles around the table, the pizza making session was a huge success and one that residents thoroughly enjoyed.
