It was great to welcome back Zoe from Happy Hands whose specialist SEND massage therapies left two of our Alan Shearer Activity Centre members very content indeed.
Against the calming underwater-themed backdrop of our Immersive Room, Matthew, who lives at our Specialist Residential Home, enjoyed a relaxing massage session accompanied by soothing music. Alongside him, regular member Tristan especially enjoyed the gentle tapping movements designed to mimic raindrops, finding them both relaxing and amusing.
“SEN massage therapy helps with a wide range of disabilities,” said Zoe from Happy Hands. “Helping with mobility often reduces unwanted behaviours but provides so much more.”
