There was fun to Spare over the weekend, as our Holy Cross Nursing Home residents decided to Strike out with a game of ten-pin bowling.
With space cleared in the activity room, the pins and ball were neatly set up in preparation for the drama to unfold. Oooh’s and aaah’s could be heard throughout the day as residents took turns to try and skittle out the most pins.
Emma Parkin, Home Manager, said: “This has been a really fun activity for our residents, and as you can see they have been getting right into the spirit of it. Fr Alec nearly knocked the pins into the dining room!”
It looks like everyone was bowled over by the day!
