Young students from English Martyrs’ Primary School have been sending lots of Christmas cheer to our St Catherine’s nursing home residents with their hand-made cards.
Because the students are unable to visit with their annual performance of carols this year, each and every one of our residents received a cheerful Christmas card containing a personal message instead.
“I do miss their beautiful carols,” said Selma, “but how thoughtful of them to spend time making us all Christmas cards.”
Our residents have been keeping in touch with the students with letters, cards and video chats, but can’t wait until they can all be together again in person.
