Our Fostering North East team has taken our cared for young people and foster carers on a day trip to Beamish where they enjoyed a living history trip through the ages.
Affectionately known as our YoungStars, our fostered young people soaked up the historic re-enactments, rode the tram and enjoyed the funfair.
Their trip was the first taken with their Beamish annual pass which is one of the regular bonuses enjoyed by our foster carers and young people.
“We all had a great day,” said one of our YoungStars. “The clothes were really funny back then, but they had great sweets – especially the cinder toffee!”
