Fresh from bowling last week, residents at our Holy Cross Nursing Home have been causing hoopla this week with a spirited game of ring toss.
Continuing to be inspired by the Olympic competitors on TV, our residents stepped up to the mark to see who could make the most successful throws in the activity room.
Emma, Home Manager, said: “We’ve all had a lot of fun getting into the competitive spirit this last week, and the residents are really enjoying their own Olympic activities – they certainly worked up an appetite for a celebratory tea and cake afterwards!”
All in all it sounds like a quoit brilliant day.
