China cups and pretty plates took centre stage at our St Catherine’s nursing home’s stylish celebration to mark Afternoon Tea Week.
Our kitchen team pulled out all the stops with a tasty spread fit for royalty and our Wellbeing Co-ordinators added the finishing touches with a beautifully decorated table display.
Our residents sampled a variety of bespoke scones with flavours including fresh pear and cheese and chive served alongside the traditional jam and cream variety.
“There was such attention to detail for our special afternoon tea,” said resident, Selma. “It all looked and tasted delicious. We felt quite spoilt!”
