Fun and games remembered

When it comes to sharing fond memories, our residents at Holy Cross can often be found enjoying a pastime together that takes them back in time.

The latest game to resurface at our home is Kerplunk, which was all the rage back in the 60’s.

And our residents, Norah and Sr Jude have enjoyed the game so much they made it all the way to the Holy Cross Kerplunk finals for a head-to-head challenge.

After a tough match, Sr Jude was crowned champion but was very gracious in her win.

“It’s not the winning, but the taking part that’s important,” she said, “and it was great fun!”
