When it comes to organising birthday parties, the combined efforts of our staff team and residents at our home in Alnwick for adults with learning disabilities are pretty hard to beat.
So, when it was time to mark resident, Hughie’s 74th birthday, their reputation was in safe hands with celebrations that started early and lasted the whole day.
Together with his fellow residents, Hughie enjoyed a day filled with his favourite music, lots of good food, a glass of fizz or two and a delicious cake. And to top it all, Hughie was thrilled to receive all the presents on his wish list plus a few surprises.
“A big thank you to everyone,” said Hughie. “It’s been a perfect day.”
