Keeping cool in the sun

Ice lollies and refreshing tipples were the order of the day for some of our Holy Cross nursing home residents in sunny Sunderland.

With temperatures cooling but the sun still shining, it was the perfect opportunity for our residents to share a little social time on their shady patios.

“It’s gorgeous to be outside overlooking the gardens,” said Kathleen. “And with staff delivering our favourite treats and tipples, what more could we possibly want?”
