MOTs for Men’s Health Week

During Men’s Health Week we’re helping our male staff to carry out important MOTs on their own health and wellbeing.

We’re making sure our male employees have easy access to links which will help them make simple health checks – from taking their pulse to check their heart rate to prostate and skin health checks.  

And, as part of our wellbeing strategy we’ve already hosted talks and focus groups to hone in on men’s health. A session by Man Health, for example, really struck a chord with one of our employees who shared his experience with the group.

“It was good to share how important it is to check your family history,” said Graeme who works in our IT team. “I didn’t do that and had a heart attack and bypass surgery. “I hope sharing my experience helps some of the young ‘uns look after themselves a bit better.”

And we’re sharing the information and links with all our staff to make sure everyone spreads the word.
